Born in Katowice, Poland. Mikolaj completed his Bachelors at the University of Sheffield, UK, and subsequently graduated from TU Delft, NL, with Cum Laude (Highest Distinction). During his studies Mikolaj focused on a wide array of typologies with a strong fascination for public architecture. His thesis project focused on redefining the role of a public condenser in the context of Copenhagen and was internally nominated for the first stage of Archiprix NL. Outside of the university Mikolaj participated in several competitions for conceptual proposals ranging from single family homes to public and commercial spaces. During his studies Mikolaj worked for a year at AHMM in London on a range of office schemes in prominent areas of London and Dublin as well as freelanced as a visual artist. Miklolaj joined Collins and Turner in 2025.
