The Architectures of Bankstown exhibition is now open at the Bankstown Arts Centre. The exhibition will showcase  the winning design for the Griffith Park Precinct alongside the area’s rich historical and urban development context. The 2023 design competition invited visionary proposals for transforming Griffith Park into a vibrant community hub, featuring plans for a new community centre and upgraded parklands. The exhibition highlights the winning concept by the team led by Collins and Turner, whose design integrates the park with Bankstown’s cultural and commercial life while celebrating its multicultural character and First Nations heritage.
