Mount Cooper Farmhouse

Mount Cooper Farmhouse

The Mount Cooper project is located on a working cattle farm in the Southern Highlands of NSW. It is a 190sqm wing linked to an existing sandstone homestead, which is refurbished as part of the project. The new building grouping creates a pair of linked courtyards and provides expanded accommodation for the owners and their young family.

The building is built traditionally in cement bagged brick with a pitched galvanized steel roof. Interior finishes continue the exposure of bagged brick to perimeter walls. Basalt bench tops and outdoor paving ground the building within the local landscape features..
